Guys, You did a really great job, I had lots of unofficial great feedback both on the day and afterwards from other visitors and participants. I had a steady stream of traffic, and my helper who I expected to need from 12-2 actually had to stay until 5 as we were still very busy. I have, I think 3 times as many leads as last year - all good quality solid work, too - very pleased. I thought the backboards looked terrific and would propose that they were incorporated into the obligatory package next year as they look so much more professional... I really enjoyed the ambiance between the visitors and the exhibitors. One person told me she was thrilled by the friendliness of the whole event as she is Swiss and doesn’t speak much English. She found the expo worthwhile coming to even though she has always lived here! I met people I’ve talked to countless times by phone or email but have never actually met, as well as made new contacts, which was a lot of fun! I even met people with questions that were answered yesterday and I was happy to direct them to stalls where I can honestly recommend certain businesses. We were late finding out about it and so our table wasn’t in the best spot, but we still spent the entire day talking to people nonstop (and we were 3!). We were also impressed by how friendly everyone was and happy to hear about what we were doing – even if it wasn’t necessarily in their particular scope of interest. The advice from you, instruction and maps etc were also all very clear and helpful. Our only comment would be that the back-drops/walls break up the room a lot and hide many of the exibhitors, and the scope of the room/event as a whole. Have you thought about putting tables wanting walls behind them around the actual walls of the room, and set up the rows of tables without any high standing displays in the middle? How flattering for us !) - 600 business cards - 20 complete brochures to be sent out this week - friendly contact with at least 20 exhibitors - serious contact with 6 exhibitors - future meetings with 3 exhibitors concerning regular catering jobs and/or business partnership - interest shown by human resource managers from 2 large corporations - rekindled friendship with 1 past acquaintance who turned up as an exhibitor - a few new friends made - the peace of mind and extra motivation which comes with being told that we are on the right track with our business.
