Currently, Derrick plays solo jazz and blues at various clubs, hotels, and restaurants, and also pure improvisation with House music and DJ’s within Switzerland. Listen to Jazzmin: Jazzmin will be accompanied by Diane Vögtlin–Potter on the piano: Diane has a degree in classical piano from the Manhattan School of Music, and has performed in Carnegie Recital Hall (NYC), University of London, Oberlin College, Ohio and Indiana University, Karthause Ittingen in Switzerland, Solo engagements in Jazz Clubs and Hotels in Japan, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and the USA. She was keyboard player and back- ground singer with Shirley Austin Reeves (the Shirelles), Noel Redding (bass player with Jimi Hendrix), Ginger Baker (drummer with Cream, Eric Clapton) and Tico Torres (drummer with Bon Jovi). The IMPROVables troupe will be performing live at 12:00 in the Foyer during the expo! The IMPROVables are part of the Zurich Comedy Club and perform in and around the Zurich area in public and in private, providing customized improvisation shows in English for corporate entertainment, birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, and more! |
